Your recipes stay in your browser

The app works without an account. Calculations, custom ingredients, notes, recipes and versions are processed on your device. Formulas are never sent to a server, and recipes have no public link.

What is stored

Local storage holds the library and the current draft. The records belong to the page's origin and the browser profile. Anyone with access to the same browser profile on the computer can see them. Local data is not encrypted or synced automatically.

Backups and deletion

Use “Export library” to download a JSON file with your recipes, versions and custom ingredients. Import that backup in another browser. Deleting a recipe removes its local history after you confirm. Clearing the site's data in your browser also erases the library and the draft; make a backup first.

Network and hosting

Once the page files have loaded, calculations do not depend on any external API. No analytics, ads, remote fonts or tracking cookies are implemented. The hosting provider may log technical request data, such as IP address and browser user agent, under its own policies. Opening an external source visits another site.

Exports and printing

The JSON file and the printed sheet may contain private notes. Share them with care. The CSV export prefixes cells that look like formulas so spreadsheets are less likely to interpret text as code.
